Spring On to Spring Dresses
Although the transition of seasons is not too noticeable in Los Angeles, spring is finally here! As you can see in Los Angeles, people can be seen wearing a variety of clothing from jackets to just jeans and a t-shirt. The easiest way to celebrate the sunny, flower blooming season is simply with spring dresses. Below are examples of playful and fun ways of approaching spring dresses.
Chriselle Lim is the queen of fashion elegance. Wearing her white Annie Bing dress, she is surprisingly graceful and slightly edgy with her accessories. The strappy denim Jimmy Choo shoes pair well with her all-white dress. Also by Jimmy Choo, the statement back gives an edgy appeal with the knotted chain straps and sharp stitch design. Chriselle’s sunglasses are by Elizabeth & James.
Francis Lola takes her pick on spring dresses in a cute and comfortable approach. Francis is wearing a striped “Fifth dress” by BNKR while springing forward in her comfortable Adidas shoes and matching black ankle socks. Her favorite detail about this dress is the handkerchief hemline and t-shirt style fit. She finishes her California look with ZeroUV sun glasses.
Ellen V. Lora
Ellen V. Lora approaches spring with a floral ¾ sleeve playsuit that looks very much like a spring dress. With her Motel Rocks playsuit, she arranges the look with a Skinnydip London purse, Simmi boots, and Gentle Monster sunglasses. Pairing the boots with the floral playsuit gives an edgier look than the usual spring dresses with heels or flats.
Lastly, here is one of my personal favorite looks. I did a collaboration shoot with Alli K Clothing and Ryan Chua. Here I am wearing an elegant blue dress with detailed designs on the side. I love this dress because of the transparent sleeves and sides, making me moderately sexy, but covered up. With this dress, I paired black heels and a fedora hat by Zara.
