While most of my generation is out partying at Coachella, I decided to throw my own party in what I call “Catchella.” It’s where I surround myself with orphan cats as a de-stressing mechanism.
A cat’s purr has the ability to heal bones, and their furry little bodies will increase oxytocin (or the love hormone) replicating the feeling of love.
But…just because you can’t pet cats does not mean you can’t reap the benefits of eyeballing them!

Simply looking at cute animals boosts productivity.
Baby animals in particular, can be especially helpful when it comes to improving your memory. So, if you have an exam to cram, looking at kittens while you study might land you a better grade.
Now, even if cute animals cannot directly help you focus, the pure satisfaction you get will trigger happy hormones in your body.
